Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts

Description
The Manitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts is the Province's flagship musical community arts education centre. An independent non-profit school of music, the organization was established in 1984 in reponse to a demonstrated community need for a central facility that offered outstanding music instruction. It's formation was recommended by the Manitoba Cultural Policy Review Committee in 1979, and supported by the Winnipeg Arts Advisory Council in the early 1980s.The Conservatory's Steinbach location was established in 1990 and currently offers piano and violin.
